I am sitting at the centre of the living room being surrounded by all these people looking at me as if I am a piece archived in the museum
"Stop it you all , stop making her so uncomfortable, move everyone" Megha bellows in her shrill voice
"Her Family is a bit crazy, you know " giggles Kirti behind me
"Hey, Sorry , Please Don't mind they are like this only " Megha sits beside me with a sheepish smile
" All of them are my brothers, sisters and cousins., everyone sit here quitely " She orders them
"Take her to the room, She is already tired and these monkeys are disturbing her " An elderly feminine voice comes from behind
The room to which I am taken looks like a royal villa, The walls are painted Prussian Blue adorned with rich tapestries and intricate frescoes. The floors are covered in plush carpets and ornate tiles ,the ceiling decorated with a glittering chandelior.
Every inch of the room evokes a sense of grandeur, luxury and extravagance.
"This is a guest room?" Confusion drips down my voice
"Yes, Why? You don't like it ?" Megha moves forward and opens the huge ornate windows of the room
"No no, it is too beautiful" I lie down on the bed, exhausted from all the activities of today.
"Take rest, I'll call you for dinner and then I'll make you meet my whole family" Megha leaves the room
I take out my things and settle them properly, I change my clothes and check my phone.
Shit, there are 7 missed calls from Mami and 3 from Mama. Damn I forgot to call them.
I immediately call Mami and tell her everything in details .
"But why would you stay in a stanger's house?? Listen you wait there , I am telling your mama , both of us are coming there, we will stay in a hotel together until you get your hostel" Worry drips down her voice
"Mami calm down , they are good people , they are a huge family , I am completely safe , don't worry, It is just a matter of two weeks" I try to cool her down
"Okay, but I am still not convinced, you make me talk to any elderly person in the family" She sounds too concerned
"Fine I will, don't worry, Take care of mama and yourself, Love you" I disconnect the call and lie down
I feel so tired that as soon as my body touches the bed, sleep envelopes me.

The sudden voice makes me jolt awake & sit up straight
I see Kirti and Megha standing in front of me with hopeless faces.
"Are you okay? We were planning to call a doctor, Look at the clock, we have been calling you straight for an hour , You were not even moving" Both of them keeps on blabbering
"I am sorry, I was so tired, I could not even sleep properly yesterday night, sorryyy" I give them a sheepish smile
"Let's go and have dinner, today it's biriyani night " Kirti makes the italian hand movement
"Yes, Let's go " I change my clothes.
As soon as I step down the stairs, I see a grand lavish dining hall brimming with people and food. My heart warms up at the sight. I have grown up in an atmosphere completely different from this . This stirrs something inside me.
"Come Naisha sit here" The same woman from evening points me to the chair beside her
I go and sit beside her "Thank you "
"So Naisha where is your home? And who else are there in your family?" an old Man at the end of the table questions me
"I'm from udaigarh, I used to live with my mama(maternal uncle) and mami(aunt) there " I tell him
"What about your parents?" He asks me again
"Umm, they are no more " I gulp down the lump in my throat
"You are Megha's friend, so you are like our daughter only, just like kirti, so make yourself completely comfortable here" The woman beside me starts filling my plate with food .
Suddenly Kirti speaks up
"Okay let me start with the introduction, this is vansh and vanya ,Megha's twin brother and sister, this is Avinash , Megha's mama's son, this is rina and snehal, Her mama's daughters, this is Rohan, her bua's son, that's Upala and anjana, her bua's daughters, that's Amar, her bua's son, this is Megha's mom, her dad, her mama, her mami, and this is her bua ,oh my god, I got tired" She starts coughing
Suddenly the room bursts into a bout of laughter
"The funny thing is there are more people, but I don't want you to lose your mind, so I'll tell you about others later" Kirti starts stuffing her mouth with biryani
Everyone starts laughing and eating together again, I don't know why but seeing such a lovely happy family, makes my heart ache and crave for it.
After completing our dinner I came back to my room and again slept like a log.

"I heard, today our astrophysics class will be taken by someone called RDO, so prof sharma told everyone to be present in the class" Neeraj announces clapping his hands
" Who is he? It was not in the schedule right?" I ask Kirti
"Actua----" Before she can even complete her sentence , I see a man entering the class without any notes or books in his hands
And suddenly I feel, my heart has stopped beating

After completing each of the derivation, he squints his eyes a little and resumes again. And when he writes those ----

Again the class breakout in a hulabaloo. I don't know why but I feel a little dizzy.

The fresh air makes me feel a little better. I was getting a bit claustrophobic in the class. Maybe it will take time to adjust to the new place.
I take an auto towards Megha's house and As soon as I reach there my eyes bulge out seeing the scene in front of me.
